Gum Ball drops huge first artist announcement
One of the Hunter Valley’s most loved cultural events, The Gum Ball, returns in 2023, with three full days of musical and culture across the last weekend of the April school holidays, 21-23rd April 2023.
The idyllic bushland festival has announced the inclusion of seminal American punk band, MUDHONEY, who are headlining the 2023 event along with thirteen other specially selected acts, who will provide a full variety of flavour and styles and this is just a taste of what’s to come, with a full line up announcement scheduled for later next month.
The Gum Ball brings a finely curated lineup of esteemed musical guests and showcases them in an intimate setting at the prestigious Dashville venue. Along with incredible music, covering a huge mix of genre and style, patrons can also experience live art, comedy, pro skateboarding, markets, workshops, camping and more.
In 2023, the festival continues its aim to connect community and culture, while paying homage to the traditional owners of the land, the Wonnarua.

The Gum Ball runs from 2pm on Friday the 21st of April through to Monday the 24th of April 2023.
