It's Open Season
The Tivoli and The Princess Theatre’s have released the program for their flagship music and arts program, Open Season which will run from May to July this year. The lineup includes cutting-edge acts as well as some big events including record label Elefant Traks 25th Anniversary. Following the success of the previous three years, Open Season will extend its reach beyond the two iconic venues with events spreading onto the streets of Brisbane with several exciting new pop-up locations revealed.
Open Season will feature Explosions in the Sky, INIKO (debut Aus show), Sky Ferreira, Yves Tumor, Blak Day Out ft. Emma Donovan + 3%, Elefant Traks 25th Anniversary - The Finale ft. Hermitude, The Herd, Horrorshow, Regurgitator and more.
“Open Season is about bringing Brisbane to life over the typically quieter winter months, promoting togetherness and celebrating artistic adventure. We are stoked with this year’s lineup and proud that Open Season has become such a huge highlight in the city’s cultural calendar,” says The Tivoli and Princess Theatre Creative Director Dave Sleswick.
“This year’s Open Season program has something for everyone. From iconic heritage acts to sets from some of Australia’s most exciting up-and-coming artists. There is street art, delicious food, shows for the kids and even a performance art series. There’s a lot to discover in this year’s edition and we can’t wait to welcome you back.”
Head to the Open Season website for all the details.
Open Season has been supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland’s QASP program, the Strategic Partnerships Fund, and through Live Music Australia – an Australian Government initiative.
