Be Social, Be Fun

One of Queensland’s fastest-growing music festivals, Be Social Fest, has revealed its lineup for the highly anticipated 2025 event. Leading the roster will be acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby, hip-hop icons Bliss N Eso , global electronic acts Baauer (USA) and Petit Biscuit (France). Rounding out the genre bending lineup are Sneaky Sound System, Boo Seeka, Crooked Colours, Karnivool, Mashd N Kutcher, Shockone, Ocean Sleeper Ruby Fields, Winston Surfshirt, Latifa Tee, Virtues and Same Pains.

Originally housed in Mackay, Be Social has moved, with the event now set to take place on Saturday, the 25th of October 2025 at the Cairns Showgrounds. Be Social’s fourth edition represents a growing commitment to scale and quality at a time when many Australian music festivals are downsizing or disappearing altogether. the 2025 event will also include an exclusive 18+ pre-party on Friday, the 24th of October at The Jack in Cairns, featuring Winston Surfshirt and friends.

“While many festivals are being forced to scale back or shut down altogether, Be Social is doing the opposite — we’re growing,” said Festival Director Michael Delaney. “Our team is committed to creating a festival that not only celebrates music but genuinely connects people. We’ve listened to our audience and reinvested into the experience — more artists, more activations, and more reasons to stay social.”

With enhanced site production, a renewed focus on sustainability, and an expanded capacity of over 8,000 attendees, Be Social Fest 2025 is shaping up to be a marquee event in the Australian festival calendar.

Be Social Fest 2025 is an all-ages event, with a range of food, beverage, and community activations planned throughout the site.
